A loco-hauled railtour run by RPPR from London to Meldon Quarry featuring doubled-headed Class 52 'Western' haulage on Saturday 30th October 1976.
1023 (leading) and 1009 hauled the tour from London Paddington to Exeter St Davids where the train reversed. The locos are seen preparing to run round.
At the end of the branch, the locos once again prepare to run round. 1009 'Western Invader' leads.
On the blocks at London Paddington at the end of the tour. 1023 led throughout apart from the section from Exeter to Meldon.
