Headcodes

Up until the mid 1970's, a number of methods were used for visual identification of the trains running along the North Wales coast. Information on each type of headcode can be found by clicking the links below. Information is taken from a BR(LMR) booklet issued in 1961, General Appendices for the 1960s and 1970s and Working Timetables for the same period.
