Bangor - 22nd July 1979
On the 22nd July 1979, a special train ran to mark the centenary of the Conwy Valley line. Its first visiting point was Bangor before returning to Llandudno and Blaenau - possibly the first visit of Class 20s to Bangor.
20153 and 20165 pass Bangor signal box whilst running round the special train.
Attached to the other end, they propel the train out of Platform 3 prior to a reversal in Belmont tunnel.
