Llandudno Junction
The last remaining junction on the North Wales Coast line, at the end of the 1970s Llandudno Junction was still an important railway centre. Although it no longer had a locomotive allocation, it was still the stabling and refuelling point for dmus and for the engines working the various freight trips. In the summer it became even busier, servicing the locos and coaches of the many dated services to Llandudno.
